Isela Phelps is the founder and editor of Loom Knitters Circle magazine. Her first book, Loom Knitting Primer: A beginner's guide to knitting on a loom was released in March of 2007. Her work has also appeared in Knitty, and Yarn Magazine (Australian based). She can be seen in an upcoming episode of DIY Knitty Gritty.

Isela loves sock yarn, and taking walks with her hubby and children. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking but she prefers to eat out. Her favorite foods are Indian and Mexican.
