Plushy Slipper Socks
The softest, comfiest socks are about to come off your loom. Be prepared, one pair is not enough. Stock up on this luxuriously soft yarn and make a pair for all your loved ones.
Pattern information:
Knitting Loom: 24 peg large knitting loom. Sample was knit on round blue Knifty Knitter by Provo Craft
Yarn: 350 yards of techno-fleece fabric. Sample was knit with Berroco Plush (3-4 skeins). Ball weight 1.75oz/50g. Ball length 90yds/83m. Fiber content: 100% nylon.
Other similar plushy yarns: Patons Be Mine (use double throughout)
Notions: 2 size 8 double pointed needles (for holding the stitches for grafting the toe close, tapestry needle
Gauge: 11sts=4 inches
Size: Adult women. Sample shown in size 6.5 women’s. For smaller/larger sizes, knit fewer/more rounds in the foot section.
Level: Advanced beginner. If you are ready to move from hats, this will make the perfect first time sock project.
Skills knowledge: knit stitch, short-rowing (I provide, step by step instructions on how to knit the rows). Kitchener/grafting for closing the toe. Instructions for the kitchener also provided as a link to one of my tuturials.
