Toddler Tunic

A quick knit, this darling Toddler Tunic can be loom knitted over a weekend using a large gauge knitting loom and bulky weight yarn.
Three popular sizes provided: 12 month, 18 month, and 24 month.
Knit it in a nice soft wool, like Rowan Big Wool for a warm and cozy little sweater. It will become your child's favorite sweater--mine doesn't want to take it off.
Materials
Knitting Loom: Large Gauge Knitting Loom. Yellow Knifty Knitter was used in sample.
Yarn: Bulky weight yarn: 240 (300) 350 yards. Rowan Big Wool was used for the purple sample. Caron Simply Soft was used on the white and pink sample.
Notions: Knitting tool, Yarn needle (large eye to pass your needle through and use for assembly of the garment), 2 Stitch Holders or waste yarn
Sizes: 12, 18, and 24 months
Gauge: 10 stitches and 15 rows= 4 inches
Skills set: Flat panels, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, joining panels*.
Level: Advanced beginner
*Short section included with pictures on how to Join 2 panels on a knitting loom: similar to the 3 needle bind off method, except this one is done on a knitting loom.
